My Favourite Lip Colour Products
If you read my last post about makeup, you'll realise that I did not write about lip colour products hehe
Why? It's because I have many products that I love that I cannot choose one from. You know, there are lip tints, lip creams, lipsticks, lip balms, and what not. You can't simply pick one :"D
So now I would like to share to you what my favourite lip colour products are!
As you can see, I put four products in the circle... (Pardon me if that is tacky haha) because those are my faves among the other ones.
My two favourite liptints are:
- Etude House Dear Darling Tint (shade: Vampire Red), I bought it when I was in Melbourne for AUD7, I believe it's around Rp 150.000,00 in Indonesian Etude House Store.
- The Face Shop Ink Lipquid (shade: Rose Marsala), chic-princessa.com for Rp 149.000,00
Both are pigmented and they last very long. Approximately 9 hours without reapplying. The downside of these two products is that they make your lips dry, but well which lip tints don't make your lips dry? I don't think there is any.
I don't use lipsticks on a daily basis, I rely most on liptint (like a teenage girl :p). But I realise on special occassions I will need one so I started looking for one.
The first lipstick I bought (and is still my favourite despite the fact that I start buying some more from other brands) is Elizabeth Arden shade number 21 (Mocca Shimmer). I use it for my UQ graduation and I love the way it looked. I love how easy it glides on my lips and how longlasting and moisturising it is. Even though it has shimmer (which I usually despise), the shimmer does not show too much making it still looks natural. I bought it in Brisbane for AUD35 (around Rp 350.000,00)
The second one is Wardah Long Lasting Lipstick (LLL) no. 10. I couldn't believe a lipstick this cheap can be this goooooddd! I love this lipstick, not only because it is cheap (it's only around Rp 40.000,00), but also because it is very pigmented and like its name, it last very long without drying my lips.
Besides this shade, I also loveeee the shade number 12 (it's a deep red, but more on the wine side, so it's dark cool tone red that I believe will suit everyone's skin tone). I didn't take a single photo of the product because the shape is exactly the same, the shade number is written below the case, but I took a picture of the swatch. You can see the swatches at the end of this post.
3. Lip Cream
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cannes! I looove this shade. Except the fact that this shade is difficult to get in Indonesia. NYX SMLC in Cannes is super rare in department stores. That is why I stacked some up before going back to Indonesia :p it is that good I swear (it is affordable too, I bought this on Target for AUD10, which is around Rp 100.000,00). Non-drying, but the lasting quality is so-so, it will be completely gone when you eat full meal with a drink, but it's still my fave because it's my MLBB (My LIps But Better) colour. Pretty and natural.
The picture below are the swatches of all the products mentioned above:
From left to right: Wardah LLL no. 10, Wardah LLL no. 12, NYX SMLC in Cannes, Elizabeth Arden no. 21, Etude House Dear Darling Tint (Vampire Red), The Face Shop Ink Lipquid (Rose Marsala). As you can see above, the NYX one looks a bit wet, it's actually matte but it does need some time to dry out.
Okay! So those are my faves! What are your favourite lip colour products? :)
