Micellar Water Battle: Bioderma vs Nature Republic vs Garnier
September 30, 2016
I'm sure you have heard about micellar water. I'm sure many of you have tried it.
Today I'm gonna be comparing three micellar water products that I have tried. I have tried many others but I think these three have lots in common between each other so I decided to compare only these three:
From left to right: Bioderma Sensibio H2O, Nature Republic Jeju Sparkling Cleansing Water, Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
The Nature Republic one comes with cotton pads like this:
The ingredients of the cleansing water are listed at the back of the box.
The Bioderma one is very very famous and has become many people's holy grail. You can buy it at drugstores or at Sociolla. Don't forget you can use my code SBNLA9QB to get a Rp 50.000 discount!
This is the ingredients list:

A closer look to its ingredients list:
And now is the time to compare those three!
I have tried them all to erase both light and heavy makeup and the result is
Bioderma has the best cleansing power. I only need 3 cotton pads for heavy makeup and 1 cotton pad for light makeup.
Followed by Garnier, who also does an amazing job in erasing every bit of makeup on my face. Nature Republic isn't bad at all, but it needs more pads to swipe and reswipe until all the makeup is gone.
Bioderma and Garnier is non-fragranced so it's a tie between them. Again, Nature Republic comes in the last position because it is fragranced, althought lightly.
Bioderma and Garnier focus on taking off makeup, Nature Republic has many plant extracts that supposedly can nourish your skin better. HOWEVER, my experience showed that Nature Republic does not do much in nourishing. So it's still a definite win for Bioderma.
