REVIEW L'Oreal Infallible #TimeProofMakeup
Hi! It's been quite long since my last post!
If you're following my instagram you must have noticed that I posted quite a lot about L'Oreal Infallible, especially its foundation. Know why? You can probably guess it right. YESS it's because the foundation is amazing.
I can't even recall when was the last time I rated a liquid foundation product as amazing. But this one is an exception, guys. I'm serious.
Before I discuss further about the foundation, let's admire this red (faux)leather box, shall we? :p
Okay so this is how it looks on the inside:
Inside the box there are 12 items, as you can see above, and I will talk about each one later on
First stop: L'Oreal Infallible Stay Fresh 24H Foundation
I got it in shade 125 Natural Rose. I was unsure about whether or not it would match my yellow skin tone (because it's Natural Rose. You know I thought it would have that cool, pink, undertone). Apparently I was wrong, it matches perfectly with my yellow skin tone.
What I super like about this foundation is its longevity. It lasts up to 10 hours. I haven't had any foundation that does that. The thing is, I used this foundation to a funeral. I did cry like a baby that time and my base makeup stayed intact. I am not even kidding.
So that's one reason. Another reason is that it blends very well with my skin it looks as if I don't use any foundation. At least that's what my relatives told me.
Their shades options are quite a lot as well so you can find your perfect match easily. What I dislike about this product is its fragrance. It's quite strong at the beginning and although it disappears in seconds, I just think fragrance is unnecessary. I would've rated this foundation 10/10 if it's fragrance-free but because it's not I deducted 0.5 points.
Next stop: L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte 16HR Powder
The size and packaging design is just like a regular compact powder. I got mine in shade 200 Natural Beige, which I think is also my skin's perfect match (Thanks L'Oreal <3)
However I don't love this one as much as I love the liquid foundation. I think the powder is just okay. It makes my face stay matte for a good 4 hours but texture and finish-wise, it's very similar to Maybelline Fit Me which is cheaper.
So for this product I'd say it's 7.5/10.
Next product: L'Oreal Pro-Contour Contour&Highlight Palette
I think this is the only contour-highlight palette that I have and I was super excited to receive this product. However, I have to say that the brush does not work for me at all. It's so difficult to pick up the product using the brush from this product, and I don't think the highlighter part does highlight. It's too dark for my liking so I'm sorry it's 7/10.
Moving on to my fave makeup product: Lipstick!
I got three shades. The finish is semi-matte, which I like. It does not dry my lips at all. The colours turn out to be so pretty even though at the first glance it seems like it's intended for people with cool undertones.
And the lip liner! I never really use one so I might give them away (hehe wait for it, guys)
And also liquid lipsticks!
It's unique because it has two ends. The first end is the regular doe-foot applicator to apply the matte liquid lipstick, whereas the other end is a balm to make the finish looks glossy.
Some of you must have known that I'm a huge fan of matte lips and not quite a fan of glossy lipsticks so... I never really use the glossy end.
This one is the matte end:
This is the glossy balm.
Next and the most waited: L'Oreal Infallible Pro Spray&Set
It's a setting spray. You can see the instructions below. I have never been really good with sprayed products because I'm so scared I would inhale it or if it gets into my eyes. But I did well with this one.
Nothing too terrifying. However, I don't see much difference on my makeup longevity when I use or not use this setting spray. Be careful not to use it too much or else you'll end up ruining your makeup.
I'd say this one is 7.5/10.
So overall, L'Oreal Infallible products are worth to try. My most favourite product is the liquid foundation but as you can see none of the product has a score below 7. Well done, L'Oreal.
Here are some photos from the Infallible event. Maudy Ayunda and Dian Sastrowardoyo were there since they are the brand ambassadors.
A spot where you can try the products or get the products applied on you by the make up artists.
And the beautiful rose backdrop! Plus the pretty Ms. Vitrie Maulani <3
See you on the next post! Thanks for reading!
