Deodorant vs Antiperspirant vs Both?

Have you ever wondered what the differences are between deodorant, antiperspirant and antiperspirant deodorant? Because today I will share you things I know about them.
Deodorant.
De-odor. To put it simply, it is to dispel the odor from our armpit, but it does not prevent sweat.
Antiperspirant.
Anti-perspire. Perspire means (according to google) "give out sweat through the pores of the skin as the result of heat, physical exertion, or stress." So antiperspirant is basically used to prevent your armpit from giving out sweat.
Some products claim to be an antiperspirant deodorant, meaning that they do both dispelling odor AND preventing perspiring.
Soo, which one is better? Which one should we use?
It depends.
Do you sweat a lot?
Is your sweat smelly?
If you sweat a lot but your sweat does not smell, use antiperspirant.
If you do not sweat a lot but once you do it smells bad, then use deodorant.
If you sweat a lot and it is smelly then use an antiperspirant deodorant.
Now what are some deodorants, antiperspirants, or antiperspirant deodorants products that I recommend?
Left to right:
1. Amway
This is my number 1 most reliable antiperspirant deodorant so far. It is rather affordable too. If I am not mistaken (my mom is the one who always buys it so I don't really know how much), it is not more than Rp 100.000,00. And it lasts for months.
This product really prevents sweat AND if you sweat it won't smell. It has subtle flowery powdery scent, which is very nice. 9/10
The only downfall of this product is that it is not easily found in drugstores or supermarket. You have to order to Amway OR buying it from a reseller.
2. Malin + Goetz
I bought this at Mecca Maxima, Brisbane. I usually use antiperspirant deodorant but there are soooo many good reviews about this product so I decided to try it. This Malin + Goetz deodorant does a so-so job at keeping me odor free. Maybe because it is natural so the strength is rather low, compared to chemical ones.
However, whenever I use this I feel nice because it is safe and made from natural ingredients. Although it is quite expensive for a deodorant, (I bought this for AUD25, which is around Rp 250.000,00) I can say that I am pretty impressed. 8/10.
3. Marks & Spencer
This is one great antiperspirant product with super nice smell. Marks & Spencer actually offers a wide varieties of fragrance for their antiperspirants and I have tried three of them (Rose, Lavender, and this China Blue one). But among those three, I am head over heels for the China Blue one <3<3 It smells sooo nice and goes along very well with my Jo Malone French Lime Blossom cologne!
Not only that it smells heavenly, this product also does more than its claim. It not only keeps you from sweating BUT ALSO makes sure your sweat won't smell! Just like what antiperspirant deodorant does. 10/10 because although it is not as great as the Amway one, it's easy to find this product. You can get this at every Marks & Spencer store and well fortunately almost every big mall has it.
4. Imperial Leather
Moving on to the cheaper options (but still do a wonderful job)... I truly recommend you to try the Imperial Leather antiperspirant deodorant! It is super cheap (not even Rp 30.000,00) and it is everywhere: minimarkets, supermarkets, drugstores, you name it.
And I have always liked their green one but several days ago I went to AEON and found this gem on sale and I saw it has mint and menthol in its ingredients so I was so excited to try it. And it truly does not disappoint me! It is sooooo good. The cooling sensation is really nice, and it smells nice too. 9/10.
5. Dove
For an even cheaper and more easily found everywhere, like literally EVERYWHERE, option: Dove. I know Dove has always been an affordable but reliable option and this antiperspirant deodorant is nice.
But don't expect this product to work as wonderfully as the more expensive products I have mentioned above because this is not as good as them. However, for its price, I can say that this Dove product is 8/10.
