But that's forgivable for this product has stolen my heart <3
Okay you guys know how I have always been raving about Paula's Choice (PC) products. Does Paula's Choice pay me? They don't, don't worry.
I am saying all good things about PC simply because their products are that good. The products are not just backed up by extensive research, they are also proven to be wonderful to my skin.
Their cleansers, TONERS (I really adore their toners, so very not basic), exfoliants, moisturizers, and of course their sunscreen!
Here I took a picture of its back side of the packaging. Since it did not come out as clear as I thought it would be, I'd write down the ingredients list so we can look at it together:
Active Ingredients: Avobenzone 3%; Homosalate 7%; and Octocrylene 2%; Oxybenzone 4%; (sunscreen agents).
Other Ingredients:Water (Aqua), Butylene Glycol (hydration), Silica (texture-enhancing), Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate (texture-enhancing), Cetyl Dimethicone (hydration/texture-enhancing), Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (green tea extract/antioxidant), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder (hydration), Ascorbyl Palmitate (vitamin C/antioxidant), Phospholipids (skin-restoring), Superoxide Dismutase (antioxidant), Adenosine (skin-restoring), Tocopherol (vitamin E/antioxidant), Bisabolol (skin-soothing), Boerhavia Diffusa Root Extract (antioxidant/skin-soothing), Colloidal Oatmeal (skin-soothing), Panthenol (skin replenishing), Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract (antioxidant), Salix Alba Bark Extract (willow herb extract/skin-soothing), Acrylate/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer (texture-enhancing), Titanium Dioxide (texture-enhancing), Sodium Hydroxide (pH balancing), Steareth-21 (texture-enhancing), Steareth-2 (texture-enhancing), Polysorbate 20 (texture-enhancing), Disodium EDTA (stabilizer), Phenoxyethanol (preservative), Sorbic Acid (preservative).
This one actually falls under the category of moisturizers with SPF, so you can skip using moisturizer when you use this. And it's true that it moisturizes my skin without making it feel oily.
The texture seems a little bit tacky. It's creamy and white, like most sunscreens. And you'd think it will leave white cast but IT DOES NOT!
I guarantee you that this product absorbs really well it won't leave white cast on your face.
If you look at the ingredients list, besides packed with sun protection agents in its active ingredients, this one also has many antioxidants substances that will nourish your skin.
While some of you might think that this sunscreen slash moisturizer with sunscreen is too expensive, I would say it's not. Why? Because one bottle will last for more than 4 months so it should be considered affordable.
